Onboarding & switching
Switch providers without losing a day.
Monitoring runs alongside your current provider from day 0. Cutover happens in a window you choose. By day 30, everything is documented.

Day 0 to day 30
Every milestone produces evidence.
You don’t take our word for where onboarding has got to. Each step leaves something you can look at.
Day 0
Monitoring is live
A test alert is raised, received and closed. The timestamp stays in the ticket.
Week 1
Access and inventory
Every device, account and vendor listed. Anything we can’t reach becomes a finding with an owner.
Weeks 2–3
Your plan switched on
Security and backup controls enabled in order, each checked against the plan.
Day 30
Documented
Written to the 3am test, and the baseline report issued to you.
| Milestone | What happens | The evidence you get |
|---|---|---|
| Day 0 | Monitoring agents deployed and alerting proven | The test alert ticket, with times |
| Week 1 | Inventory of devices, accounts, licenses and vendors | The asset register, first draft |
| Weeks 2–3 | Plan controls enabled: multi-factor, endpoint protection, backup, patching | Enforcement and coverage reports |
| Day 30 | Documentation complete, first restore test done | The baseline report and the restore record |
Switching providers
Five steps, and nothing goes unwatched.
The risky moment in a switch is the gap between one provider stopping and the next one starting. We remove the gap.
- 01
Credentials and documentation
We collect what exists and list what doesn’t, so nothing depends on your old provider’s memory.
- 02
Monitoring alongside
Our monitoring runs next to theirs, so nothing goes unwatched during the handover.
- 03
A cutover window you choose
Timed around your business, with a way back if anything doesn’t come up.
- 04
The handover checklist
Every account, every password and every vendor confirmed as yours, in your name.
- 05
The baseline report
Where you stand on day 30, written down, so the first monthly report has something to measure against.
What we need from you
An hour of your time, and one person to ask.
- A named contact who can make decisions or find the person who can.
- Administrator access, or the authority to recover it as the owner of the accounts.
- Your current provider’s notice period, so the overlap is planned rather than rushed.
- A list of the software that runs the business, even a rough one. We fill in the rest.
Every onboarding is scheduled, never squeezed in. Onboarding is where the next three years are decided, so each one gets the attention it needs, and the start date on your quote is one we keep.
